Day Off

We had major rains here last night and due to flooding my high schooler had no school, again! I went to Preschool and was getting ready to start my second job at the catering place. It is a little slow this time of the year so when I got there they asked if I would mind having a day off. Yay for me. I love both my jobs but an unexpected afternoon off is a delight. It is absolutely beautiful here today so I am going to get outside and walk.
Then I will come home and catch up on a few things and just enjoy my day. Life is full of nice unexpected surprises. I may actually get caught up on laundry and fix a decent dinner. Hope your day is a great one.
